The Dawson Regional Planning Commission released the Final Recommended Plan to the Government of Yukon, Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Government and the public on March 31, 2026.
It is now up to the Government of Yukon and the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Government to reject, accept, or modify the Commission’s Plan. They are running a public engagement from October 26 through December 18, 2026, including community and virtual open houses, an online survey, meetings with plan partners, and the opportunity to submit written feedback.

- Whitehorse: November 18, 2026, 4 pm to 8 pm, Gold Rush Inn
- Dawson City: November 20, 2026, 11 am to 2 pm, Downtown Hotel
